Ceilidh Trail

Promises, promises – this will be a short post.

We are in slow down mode.

Ceilidh Trail connects Canso Causeway to the Cabot Trail. Inverness and Cabot Links are on the Ceilidh Trail. This is a travel destination in its own right.

Today we take a tour at the whiskey distillery – Glenora Distillery.

The distillery swears by their local water source

And we check out the beach at Port Hood!!!

The next day, while Pat is off fishing on The Margaree, I take the afternoon to walk the beach and boardwalk at Inverness. There are wonderful vistas of the town and golf course. To think the golf course was once a coal mine – WOW!

Love the board walk. BC has a lot to learn from this.
    Great walking views

    1. I agree. After playing the course a few days earlier I enjoyed walking the boardwalk. The perspective of the town’s location to the golf course (previously the mine) is interesting. You don’t realize this while on the golf course.
