Moncton

Given the weather we are relieved the two hour drive here is uneventful.

as we drive to Moncton during Lee

It is raining and windy so while recharging at Moncton’s downtown charger we duck into the nearest pub for lunch.

We watch more Davis Cup tennis 🇨🇦 vs 🇨🇱: we win the tie 2-1 and finish first in the group at 8-1. Formidable!

Our Airbnb is spacious. We hunker down.

Lee passes over around 4am. I wake up so take a peek out the window. There is little wind and no rain because we are in the eye of the storm.

Come morning there is no rain and the sun starts to peak through. We enjoy having internet and stay in until around 3pm.

We get out for a walk. Moncton is a bilingual city by the way.

The river is nicknamed the chocolate river.

Here are a few photos from downtown Moncton.

Before we leave we drive out to Magnetic Hill. Our car self drives up the hill. Crazy!

The hill wasn’t too busy so we drove the hill a few times.

  1. Good to hear that Lee is behind you now and all is good. Not everyone can say they experienced life in the eye of the storm.

How long was the drive up the electric hill.

    1. The drive is about 4-5 minutes. It wasn’t busy so we did this three times total. It seems like an optical allusion – you think you are going uphill but may be going downhill. ?!?
