Two Sore Backs

This is the view looking north across Slocan Lake from Sally’s Beach in New Denver. The beach was named after our friend Steve Lamare’s mother, who lived on the property that fronts the beach until she passed away a few years ago.

Steve and Karen Lamare now own the property, and they’re making improvements including the removal of three cedar trees in order to install a new septic system. They now have an unimpeded view, across a new lawn and split cedar fence, to the lake beyond.
