Perce

On the way to Forillon, on St. Jean Baptiste day, Perce was packed. There were lineups outside every pub and restaurant, so we traveled a bit further to the town of Gaspe for a great meal at Brise Bise.

This time, on the way to New Brunswick, we were sure there would be no crowds.

We arrived in Perce around lunchtime. It was busy due to cruise ship visitors-still not as busy as Saint Jean Batiste though. Val has a work colleague who is from Gaspe and highly recommended Restaurant La Maison du Pecheur. And we were not disappointed. Our meal has set the standard for this trip: YUM!

Despite the fog and scotch mist, the stroll along the boardwalk and view of Percé Rock was breathtaking.

    I think the trip is worth it just to partake in the lobster poutine.

    Marvellous gems to keep your sore backs from defeating your cross country dreams. We are now booked to do a month ebike trip, in keeping with the theme of ‘e-Confederation’ . Sept 13 Halifax, PEI Cobfederation Trail, Magdalen Islands, and somehow ending up in Cape Breton’s ‘Celtic Colors International Music Festival Oct 6 through 14. Maybe we’d even meet you there if you decide to stay on in Atlantic Canada! Fun abounds for you and for all those who find e sources of power! Have a blast!

        Hi Pat and Val, You are both looking so well on this diet of e travel. Yes. It would be great to meet up with our e bike sibling group plus Gary, between Sept 15 and Oct 8.Are you planning on visiting Isles de Madellen by bike?         Hi Ann, we’re heading there on Wednesday, just by car. Late September early October we’ll be in Nova Scotia and PEI again, so maybe we could see you in Charlottetown?
