“No, it’s ‘Quack’, like a duck!

We had heard a few different pronunciations, but finally got the right one (we think) from the park staffer who registered us in. KOO-chi-buh-QUACK!

Our time in this park was good, all things considered. Kelly’s Beach was amazing. We walked for an hour and a half, and only got half way to the tip of the sand spit. And the sun finally peaked out near the end, which was nice.

Don’t need shoes here
Pat was brave – very shallow water

And we had a nice camp setup.

But the weather has been wet for weeks, and the mosquitoes were ferocious.

Fortunately, we were prepared.

On day 2 we did a 20 k+ bike ride around and through the park. A good way to deal with bugs is to outrun them.

One more time – KOO-chi-buh-QUACK!
Callander’s Beach

The fat tire bikes were fun to ride, but the saddles weren’t the best!

Resting our butts near the end of the ride.

Puts a new meaning to the word “Quack”.
You realize your friends are going to let you live through this without shuttle reminders!!

Good views and a life time of memories. Did you both have e-bikes or regular ones?

    Have a quack day! 🦆
